Situated on the North of Kathmandu in Langtang National park Yala peak has an altitude of 5732m. Before the peak climbing the trekking in the Langtang valley is one of the most beautiful and amazing experience. We’ll walk along adorable village influenced by Tibetan culture and encounter wildness walking through a dense forest with lively wild animals. Langtang village, Kyanjim Gompa, with Buddhist monastery and chorten are the cultural sights we’ll engage with during the trek. The Yala Base camp is located at the altitude of 4800m and from the top of Yala summit the view of Shishapangma (8046 m), Gangchempo (6388m) and several other peaks are just overwhelming.
Short Itinerary
Day 01 Arrive in Kathmandu, Altitude 1350m.
Day 02 Kathmandu valley sightseeing.
Day 03 Drive from Kathmandu to Dunche-Sybrubesi, Altitude 1460m.
Day 04 Trek to Lama Hotel, Altitude 2470m.
Day 05 Trek to Langtang gaun, Altitude 3330m.
Day 06 Trek to Kynjim gompa, Altitude 3800m.
Day 07 Acclimatization day, hike to Tsergo Ri, Altitude 4985m.
Day 08 Trek to Yala Base Camp, Altitude 4600m.
Day 09 Preparation for the climb.
Day 10 Summit to Yala peak and back to Kynjim gompa, Altitude 5500m.
Day 11 Kynjim gompa to Lama Hotel, Altitude 2470m.
Day 12 Lama Hotel in Sybrubesi, Altitude 1430m.
Day 13 Drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 01 Arrive in Kathmandu, Altitude 1350m.
Our representative will receive you from Tribhuwan international airport and transfer you to the hotel.
Day 02 Kathmandu valley sightseeing.
We will be visiting UNESCO world heritage sites and preparation for the further trip.
Day 03 Drive from Kathmandu to Dunche-Sybrubesi, Altitude 1460m.
We will travel by tourist bus from Kathmandu to Dunche- Sybrubesi at 1460m altitude.
Day 04 Trek to Lama Hotel, Altitude 2470m.
From Dunche- Sybrubesi we will start trekking to Lama Hotel in 2470m altitude.
Day 05 Trek to Langtang gaun, Altitude 3330m.
From Lama hotel, we will continue our trekking to Langtang gaun at 3330m altitude.
Day 06 Trek to Kynjim gompa, Altitude 3800m.
Early in the morning after having a breakfast we will trek to Kynjim gompa in 3800m altitude.
Day 07 Acclimatization day, hike to Tsergo Ri, Altitude 4985m.
We will be acclimating the day with the further trip discussion and hike to Tsergo Ri in 4985m altitude.
Day 08 Trek to Yala Base Camp, Altitude 4600m.
Today we will be climbing Yala base camp peak at the height of 4600m.
Day 09 Preparation for the climb.
We will be preparing for the further trip where we have to climb the high mountains.
Day 10 Summit to Yala peak and back to Kynjim gompa, Altitude 5500m.
Summit to Yala peak and back to Kynjim gompa at 5500m altitude.
Day 11 Kynjim gompa to Lama Hotel, Altitude 2470m.
Trekking to Kynjim gompa to Lama Hotel at 2470m altitude.
Day 12 Lama Hotel in Sybrubesi, Altitude 1430m.
Trekking back from Lama Hotel to Sybrubesi in 1430m altitude.
Day 13 Drive back to Kathmandu.
We have come at the end of our trip. We will drive back from Sybrubesi to Kathmandu.
